Bad news To Recently employed Teachers As Some Stand At High Chances of Missing Placement Letters.

Teachers Service Commission has compiled a list of teachers who do not completely qualify for permanent  employment .The list contains names of applicant’s who participated in the recently concluded employment exercise. As a result , the commission shall send letters of regret to them as other successful applicants expect to receive posting letters.

The commission arrived at this decision after it had established a serious scrutiny on  the documents presented by the applicant’s during the recently concluded employment exercise.

The commission gave the following reasons that lead to the cancellation of some  applicants’ application for the advertised TSC posts:

  1. a) some applicants  have used fake degree certificates.

b)other applicants  did not meet the minimum required threshold for TSC recruitment consideration.

c) some applicants had previously been employed , dismissed and removed from the teacher register by the commission.

d) some failing to meet the tsc  teaching subjects requirements.

e) other applicants were missing in the graduation list  from their respective universities.

f) some had differing names on their academic documents.

As a result of the above missing links, the commission has asked recruiting panels to be more keen and subject the applicants’ documents to serious scrutiny so as   to avoid scenarios where undeserving applicants are given the TSC jobs as the deserving ones are left out.

The teachers whose names are appearing on the  list of the disqualified shall  receive regret letters from the commission.

The Commission again come out with strict  recruitment guidelines to be observed during employment exercise which include  the following.

– every applicant must present original and legible photocopies of the following documents:

-National Identification Card.

-CPE/KCPE certificates.

*KCSE certificates  including first attempt         certificate if  one repeated                   examinations

*Degree/diploma Certificates           * official transcripts

-Primary and Secondary Schools  leaving certificates.

– a sworn affidavit to be  availed        where names on the submitted       documents differ .

The selection panel shall  shall subject all candidates to a vetting exercise to ensure that  each applicant to meets the above guidelines.
