The Ministry of Education in Kenya has released the 2020-2023 revised term dates for all primary and secondary schools. In the new school calendar, all schools will reopen fully on January 23rd 2023. This will apply to all continuing PP1 and 2; Grade 1, 2 and 3; Class 5, 6 and 7; and Form 1, 2 and 3 learners.
In the new calendar, normalcy has resumed with the first term kicking off in the 23rd Day of January 2023. This is a sigh of relief bearing in mind how streneous the last three academic years have been owing to ripple effects occasioned by the Covid 19 pandemic.
“As you are aware, the school calendar was disrupted due to COVIO.19 pandemic. However, the calendar will revert back normally in January, 2023”, read a statement from Ministry of Education.
