School closing, KCPE and KCSE exam dates

The Ministry of Education changed its schooling plan after Covid 19 was accounted for in Kenya. As at now, students are at school to complete their third term and guardians ought to expect their school going children back at home beginning from seventeenth of July 2021.

Guardians according to the current school schedule will remain will their children for atleast 7 days and they will report back to class as from 25th July 2021 to begin their final term of 2020. The term that will start on 25th July 2021 will run for just a short time before the primary and high school learners go for their half term off on early October.

The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exam will be done as from seventh March 2022 while the KCSE test will be scheduled to statet from eleventh March 2022.

For the time table to resume to its manner in which it is planned, the Ministry of Education is encouraging Kenyans to follow whatever the Ministry of Health has prompted with the goal that the nation can check the spread of the infection.
