Teachers service commission has revealed a recruitment timelines for July 2021, recruitment. Advertisement for these teaching vacancies posts was done on Tuesday 29th June, 2021.
According to the official document seen by Admission Kenya, TSC regional directors were sensitised virtually on Friday 2 July, 2021.
Qualified applicants were invited to make their applications online via TSC website. Online applications that kicked off on Tuesday 29 June, and are expected to be concluded by Monday 12 July, 2021. The commission warned that manual application will not be accepted.
The document further indicates that TSC County directors will collect employment forms on Friday 16th July.
After online application exercises has lapsed, TSC will then generate and send merit lists to county directors. This will take place for two days starting Tuesday 13th July to Wednesday 14th July.
Merit Lists shall be made available to members of public wishing to see them on request in a manner that will not put the recruitment process into jeopardy.
Venues for recruitment will be communicated via text message and that TSC County Director must ensure that venues for interviews are accessible to applicants with special needs.
The commission has slated County selection process and filling of application for employment forms by successful candidates for Thursday 22nd to Wednesday 28th July 2021.
Teachers who will be dissatisfied with recruitment process will have to register their complaints from Thursday 29th July to Friday 6th August 2021. Complaints will be vetted and handled at county levels.
If the complaint is levelled against the TSC County Director, the TSC Headquarters shall investigate the allegations and take appropriate action.
TSC headquarters will receive of documents starting Monday 9th August to Thursday 12th August 2021. This will be carried out for four days.
Verification of documents at the TSC headquarters will take place for eight days between Friday 13th and Friday 27th August 2021.
Successfully employed teachers will report to their respective stations on Wednesday 1 September, 2021.
Finally, county directors will be required to submit reporting status by 30th September 2021.
